Though I have been physically active all my life, my personal training career started at the age of 20. My first true passion started at a young age when my father, who was a martial arts instructor, enrolled me in “Tae Kwon Do” at the age of 6. Since then, my passion for martial arts has only grown with time. I quickly learned the benefits of being physically fit. My thirst for knowledge led me to become a certified personal trainer. As a personal trainer, I have helped many clients with weight management issues, lifestyle changes, and an overall better well-being! While training, I was constantly dealing with clients who had pain in various areas of the body, leading me to research on ways I could help with these muscle imbalances, due to sports injuries or other traumatic events. In my research, I found The Egoscue Method®, a homeopathic pain relief method. This is a method of restoring vitality and youth to a body by restoring health through a range of motion and corrective exercises. This method works with the body and its natural ability to want to stand and function against the stress of gravity or other physical forces. While going through school, and after becoming certified through The Egoscue Method®, I have helped many people achieve pain relief and health through motion by following The Eight Laws of Physical Health. The laws of vertical load, dynamic tension, form and function, breathing, motion, balance, stimulus, and renewal. Whether restoring function to a high-performance athlete or helping someone to simply live their daily life without pain, I will use my knowledge as both a personal trainer and a therapist to help you achieve your goals!

I have always had a love for fitness, while growing up in the industry, through my mom who owned and operated Fitness Motivators for 25 years! Having started my fitness training career at the age of 15 in group exercise, my goal throughout the years was to continue to stay on top of the new fitness trends and to continue to educate myself. While moving through most of the multiple platforms of group exercise, I have always looked for new ways to educate and push myself in the fitness field and to go above and beyond group exercise, which led me to consider personal training. The realm of fitness is so big that I believed that transitioning into personal training was the next step to take my fitness experience to the next level. While searching for gyms that suited my style, I was discouraged that I didn’t find the right fit, until I was introduced to STS Active. I feel the energy and knowledge of the gym are right where I want to be in my personal training life.

Whether you take one of my group exercise classes or visit me for personal training, you will feel the positive energy I exude. As a trainer and instructor, I am able to train any fitness level and any age. I love to give everything I have with a smile on my face. Get in shape or stay in shape with me!
